Manchester City confirmed Player To Replace Sergio Aguero This Summer, Manchester City has confirmed the player who will replace Sergio Aguero, their top striker, in the summer transfer window.

Pep Guardiola’s side are already preparing for life after Aguero, who will leave Etihad at the end of this season.

Man City had announced that Aguero would leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Aguero’s deal with Man City will end at the end of the current campaign, and the Premier League leaders said they are not renewing.

The 32-year-old joined City from Atletico Madrid for £35 million in July 2011 and has since won four Premier League titles.

According to the UK Sun, Man City want Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, as a long-term replacement for Aguero.

City board are hoping emotional leverage will play in their favour for a potential deal for the Norway international, with Haaland’s father Alf-Inge having played for the club between 2000 and 2003.

The Citizens will face stiff competition for Haaland, with Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona also interested in the 20-year-old.

Haaland has scored 25 goals and provided one assist in 25 Bundesliga matches for Dortmund so far this season and has ten goals from six games in the Champions League.
