Nigerian Man Laments as they pay his sister’s bride price almost 300,000 and its only 5000 that reaches his mother’s hand.
A Nigerian man has decried the misogynistic practices that exist in African traditions and cultures as it affects him directly.
The lad with Twitter handle, @Chuki_emordi revealed that his sister’s bride price was paid to the tune of N300k, yet only a paltry sum of N5k was given to his mum who toiled for her daughter.

“Them pay my sister bride price almost 300k, na 5k reach my momsy hand, elders share the rest, so na the misogyny Ebele and Uloma dey talk since be this.
