A man simply identified as Chima was arrested by Lagos Police for burning his sister to death after she reportedly slapped their mother. The accident has happened at the C.A.C bus stop in Okokomaiko, Lagos State’s Ojo Local Government district, according to sources.
Victoria was reported to have died hours after her uncle, who was claimed to have been told by her mother to scold the pregnant lady about her recent behavior, snatched a jerry who had already fill her restaurant with Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS) and doused the deceased with the contents and set her fire, reports The Country. Trouble was reported to have begun after her daughter was chided for leaving their residence to cohabit with men.
Victoria, it was gathered, did not like the scolds and in no time raised her hand against her mother, which forced Chima to grab a nearby keg to hit.

But the content allegedly poured out with some of it touching Victoria, which ignited fire leaving her with severe burns.
It was learned that the girl was taken to a nearby hospital on the road to Kemberi, but she was rejected by doctors and referred to Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, where she was confirmed dead.
