Mrs  Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi, was a popular Yoruba actress who died on January 5, 2021. The report of her death, plunged the theatre industry into sorrow.
The veteran actress, a native of Olla in Kwara State, died at the age of 60 at her home in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Her death came four months after the death of her ex-husband, Jimoh Aliu, popularly known as Aworo.

David Mela was a fast rising  Nollywood  actor who died   On January 11, 2021, from an unknown ailment.

As revealed in a post before his untimely death, the young actor was said to be going through a tough period in his life.

Chico Ejiro, the popular Nollywood film producer, died on December 25, 2020.
Family sources said that he died in the early hours of Christmas Day from a seizure. He was said to have just concluded work on his new movie on Christmas Eve.

In recent months, the deceased was said to have battled with malaria and had been in and out of the hospital for some time. Another source said he was also battling with high blood pressure which complications resulted in a heart disease.

His son, Dan Nkoloagu Jnr, announced his death on his Facebook page.He wrote: “IT WAS A BLACK FRIDAY FOR US YESTERDAY as my Dad left us without saying goodbye.”

Nkoloagu, who died at 83, was popular for playing the role of a native doctor in many Igbo movies.

The Imo-born thespian gave up the ghost after complaining of severe body pains.

He joined the film industry in 2004 where he starred in several films.
