Note Nwakaudu died from a short illness on Sunday.

While the cause of Nwakaudu’s death has not been officially released, there are speculations that it could be connected with cardiac arrest.

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has consoled Governor Nyesome Wike over the death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.

Recall that Nwakaudu died on Sunday after a brief illness.

Although the cause of Nwakaudu’s death has not been made official, there are speculations that it could be related to cardiac arrest.

Reacting, Jonathan in a statement signed by his media aide Ikechukwu Eze on Monday expressed shock over Simeon Nwakaudu’s death.

“ I condole with you, the Nwakaudu’s family, professional colleagues, and the government of Rivers State which he served faithfully and loyally.”

According to him, Nwakaudu was a thoroughbred journalist and public relations professional who displayed unflinching loyalty and courage in the discharge of his duties.

“I know his death is a great loss to you, his family, and the government of Rivers State, as he was a principal staff of your administration, who was at the forefront of explaining and defending policies and programmes of your government.

“I want you to feel consoled that Simeon Nwakaudu has spent a career of commitment and devotion.”

Jonathan added that several leaders of the community would miss Nwakaudu.
