Lionel Messi is ready to leave Barcelona next year unless there is a total restructuring of the club.
That’s the bombshell news from Cadena COPE on Saturday which claims that the Ballon d’Or winner has issued a warning to the Barça hierarchy over his future.
The Blaugrana were on the end of their worst defeat in over 70 years on Friday as they went down 8-2 to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

That cataclysmic defeat will almost certainly see boss Quique Setien lose his job before the start of next season, but Messi is apparently wanting even bigger changes.
Cadena COPE say that the Argentine forward is furious with the club’s recruitment over the past five years and believes that the peak of his career has been wasted at Camp Nou.
Messi now wants something approaching a revolution behind the scenes, and if he doesn’t get what he wants, will walk away when his contract ends next summer.
Inter Miami, Inter Milan and Manchester City have all been linked with his signature.
